Digital twin: the meaning, and the limits
A digital twin is an AI-generated character modelled on a real performer's looks and persona. Candy AI produces the shorts with generative video, and the performer licenses her likeness for it. The result looks and sounds like her, but it is not footage of her: no scene was filmed with the real person.
That matters for two reasons. First, the stories can put the twin in situations the performer never shot. Second, any video claiming to be a "leaked" Candy Shorts scene of a real performer is either the free trailer or something else entirely. Our leaks page covers this.
Why twin shorts cost more
Candy AI prices twin-led shorts higher because it pays for the likeness. On the open shelf a locked episode costs 30 tokens instead of 12; on the Spicy shelf 50 instead of 30. The free episodes stay the same: 1 without login and 2 with a free account on open shorts, 1 and 2 after login on Spicy shorts.
