The plot of Thanksgiving With My Best Friend's Mom, minus the ending

Ryan has nowhere to spend Thanksgiving, so his best friend Kyle brings him home. Kyle's mom, Lexi, is cooking the big dinner.

While the men watch football in the living room, she keeps calling Ryan into the kitchen for help, and the help she needs has little to do with the turkey.

Opening chapter: arriving for dinner

The opener sets up the family, the game and the first summons to the kitchen.

Locked chapters 3–5: one more trip to the kitchen

The locked episodes build the risk as the game goes on in the next room.
