The plot of My Stepsister Still Calls Me Loser, minus the ending

Sadie called Ethan a loser all through college. Then his dad married her mom, and now she is his stepsister.

They share a bathroom, and Sadie never locks the door. She still calls him a loser, but the tone has changed.

Opening chapter: the old bully moves in

The opener is the awkward reunion and the first encounter at the bathroom door.

Locked chapters 3–5: the unlocked door

The locked episodes turn the mockery into flirting, one open door at a time.
